  • Working with Asia was great - her creativity and excellent eye brought the most out of teeny tiny bathroom! She helped us pick the perfect finishes and helped us get the details just right, making everything super functional as well as beautiful.

  • It's been great working with Asia Babbington of Salvaged Sanctuary on a few projects. She goes beyond her scope of work to make sure that everything runs smoothly and the project ends up looking amazing. As long as you don't partner her up with my brother, Rudy, it's all good. They are great at spending all of Joe's money. All jokes aside, Asia is a very talented and knowledgeable designer.

  • Asia helped us with the floor plan, furniture selection, paint color selection and built in shelving design for our living room. The process felt very professional, she was flexible for meetings and always available for consultation via text. Asia connected us with her preferred contractors which was a relief after being ghosted by a number of others. Asia listened to the vibes we wanted present and gave us her honest feedback to guide us to the best outcome. Our living room is put together better than we could have imagined and feels like the style is ours.

  • Asia came in and created an Oasis in what was a non-functional tiny bathroom. She selected the color for the walls, a new shower curtain and entirely new vanity (in addition to the sink and stone). She worked diligently and effectively. I love my functional and spacious bathroom. I then scheduled her again to help style the rest of my space, she organized and hung all my artwork and moved my living arrangement around. I feel like I have a new home, great job Asia!

  • When it was time to update the interior of our mid century home we called Salvaged Sanctuary. Asia met with us, discussed what we wanted to accomplish, and our price range, walked through our home with us and presented us with several options for furniture placement of existing furniture, paint colors, fabric choices, and possible purchases of new furniture all within a week. The ideas and paint recommendations she made were very innovative and forward thinking, She was able to incorporate our globe collection and a personalized picture wall including photos we have taken on our various trips. Paint selection is modern and looks great with our existing upholstered furniture colors, as well as new furniture that we purchased. She was professional, timely, and easy to work with. We are very pleased with the outcome of our project and highly recommend Salvaged Sanctuary.

I usually feel uncomfortable shopping for any home decor items, but she made me feel comfortable and involved in every aspect.   • I have worked with Salvaged Sanctuary on numerous projects since purchasing my home five years ago and Asia has turned my vintage Chicago condo into my contemporary dream home. Salvaged Sanctuary managed the interior design of my living room, bathroom, kitchen, two bedrooms, and outdoor patio. In addition to taking measurements and sourcing gorgeous pieces, Asia also built a custom console table and managed renovations on my closet and wallpaper installation. What impresses me most about working with Asia is she finds creative ways to use existing pieces that I own to bring my personal style into her design. Furthermore, Asia was creative in sourcing unique pieces second-hand that saved thousands of dollars! Designing your home can feel overwhelming, but Asia makes the experience fun and customized to what makes you feel comfortable and at peace in your home. She taught me so much about her process that it was an incredible learning experience. I will absolutely continue working with Salvaged Sanctuary on my next big project!

  • I felt very lucky to come across Asia's business. She comes into the space with a non-judgemental eye and asks what needs and wants the client wants to fulfill. I personally get very overwhelmed with this kind of thing and she helped suss out things that I might like in my living space. Asia is incredibly knowledgeable about interior design. When she left, she also sent an email with actionable next steps so that I could continue to build on the foundation she laid. I would definitely recommend her for her interior design needs.
